Senior Pastor

He founded Northern Hills Community Church (NHCC) in November 1996 and completed construction of the current church facility in August 1998.  

In 1961, Pastor Dale joined the United States Marine Corps, at the age of 17. With an honorable discharge 4-1/2 years later, he joined the Novi Police Department in Novi, Michigan. He retired as Commanding Officer of the Patrol Division in 1980.

His formal education in ministry began in 1976. He earned his Bachelor of Ministry degree in 1978, his Master of Divinity degree in 1980, and his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1984.

Today Pastor Dale's ministry brings his wealth of experience from his life lessons as a marine, police officer, pastor, and teacher. He teaches karate for fun and fellowship. He is a Professor of Evangelism at the Golden Gate Baptist Seminary, Phoenix campus. He actively serves on the Arizona State Mission Board. Mentoring new church planters in the Phoenix area, he shares his experiences for starting and growing churches. In his newest ministry, he serves as Police Chaplain in the Phoenix Police Department.
